Tonight’s focus takes us to Fratton Park, where Portsmouth are still looking for a second home league win of the season against a Sheffield United side who won last time out. From there we go to Loftus Road, where QPR have drawn their last four league games and welcome a Derby side without a win since the first day of September.

Results since Friday

Our last five previews have returned eight winners from 14 positions, with three more returning the stake and two losing.

• Villarreal v Napoli: FH Over 1.5 at 2.42 (+3.52%) won

• Burnley v Charlton: Charlton +0.75 at 2.05 (+19.3%) won

• Coventry v Newcastle: Coventry +0.25 at 1.925 (+8.3%) won

• Levante v Sevilla: FT Over 2.5 at 2.08 (+4.73%) won

• Lecce v Bologna: Lecce +0.50 at 1.95 (+20.6%) won

• Cagliari v Juventus: Cagliari +1.00 at 1.825 (+18.8%) won

• Manchester United v Tottenham: Tottenham +1.00 at 1.675 (+4.1%) won

• Borussia Dortmund v Werder Bremen: Werder Bremen +1.50 at 2.025 (+29.2%) won

Leeds at the Emirates, Brentford at Villa Park and Como against Roma all returned the stake, while the three losers were both positions on Chelsea v Bournemouth and the Under 2.5 in Dortmund.

Portsmouth v Sheffield United (7:45pm UK)

The market makes Portsmouth 2.25 favourites at home, with the draw at 3.30 and Sheffield United out at 3.11, which is a fairly generous view of a side sitting 20th. Pompey have two wins, two draws and four defeats from their eight league games, and at Fratton Park it has been one win, one draw and two defeats with seven goals conceded. They have been creating chances at home, around 1.9 goals’ worth a game, with just five goals in four games to show for it. Sheffield United are four points better off in 15th, although Portsmouth have a game in hand. Full-time xG comes in at 1.74 for Portsmouth against 1.26 for the visitors, a 3.00 combined total, and both teams have scored in three of United’s four games on the road this season.
