Tonight’s focus takes us to the Stade Louis II for Monaco against Lens, and then to Barcelona, where Espanyol host an Elche side still on two points from six games.
Thursday Results
Nothing landed on Thursday. Ilhan Fakili put Besiktas ahead in the first half and Keyliane Abdallah levelled fourteen minutes later, and that second goal was the one that beat the no-goals position. Besiktas then scored three inside thirteen minutes of the restart through Vaclav Cerny and Amir Murillo, Ernest Poku added a fourth on 81, and Marseille lost a fourth in a row. The position was gone before half time and everything after it belonged to Besiktas.
Monaco v Lens (7:45pm UK)
Monaco are 2.05 at the Stade Louis II, with the draw at 3.65 and Lens out at 3.15. The xG trend is moderate at a combined 2.925 and there is almost nothing in it, 1.455 for Monaco against 1.470 for Lens. The market has the home side more than a point shorter than a visiting team it barely separates on expected output.
